Chassagne-Montrachet is an appellation d'origine controle covering the communes of Chassagne-Montrachet and Remigny in Côte d'Or located in Burgundy. This Appellation from the Cotes de Beaume wine region used for white wine Chardonnay as the main grape variety .Olivier Leflaive a French Burgundy’s well respected from the wine producers, offering wines of exceptional quality, consistency and style from village appellations and cru vineyards across the legendary Côte d’Or. Les Blanchots is from a spectacular site, a scant two meters from the Grand Cru Criots Batard Montrachet 

Tasting notes: Energetic and silky-textured in the mouth.The palate is exquisitely balanced, achieving both racy fresh character. A surprise ripeness and understated power.
