Sancerre world wide well know wine for his superb white, do also like many this area do produce some ageable rose wine from Pinot noir variety grape. All rose and red wine from Pinot noir can account for anywhere from 1/5 to 1/6 of annual production depending on the vintage .Those red and rose Sancerre produce are light to medium bodied with floral aromas and delicate flavours. 

Chaumeau-Balland for decades. This family-run estate focuses on quality and their wines show it. Average age of their vines is 30 years, which means extra concentration in the grapes and which imparts richness and elegance.
