Château Monbrison is a Bordeaux wine estate located in Margaux appellation  The vineyards back to the 17th century when the land was still part of the neighboring  Chateau d'Arsac in Médoc estate. Today the descendants have continued to manage and modernize the château .. Monbrison 2008 evolves perfectly and confirms what it promised in primeurs. Drinking well now and  only 3,750 cases has been produced.   

Tasting notes:  A ruby robe in the purest style margalais . On the nose, there is a lot of pepper and peony accents. In the mouth, the corsetted tannins are subtle, graceful along with a floral final of character.

Grape variety: 55% Cabernet-Sauvignon, 3% Cabernet Franc , 37% Merlot, 5% Petit Verdot
